Talent Optimization: Navigating Change in the Workplace

    Presented by:

    John F. Broer, Principal -

How we react and respond to change is actually part of our hard-wiring or what we call one’s “Behavioral DNA”. And although a highly predictable and reliable factor, organizations frequently overlook its value when helping their people deal with and navigate the changing and shifting landscape of the work world which has only been amplified with COVID-19. This session will provide each participant with an understanding of their own Behavioral DNA, how it influences their reaction to change, and how to manage (navigate) it armed with better self-awareness and tools.

John Broer is a Principal and Co-Founder of, a people optimization consultancy based in Toledo, Ohio. John has been an organizational performance consultant for nearly 25 years with experience in a wide variety of industries and markets.  As a certified Talent Optimization Consultant, John’s areas of expertise have included corporate learning architecture, leadership and team development, people analytics, and disrupting the out-dated practices that are holding organizations back from realizing their true potential. John has been published multiple times by Chief Learning Officer and Training Industry Magazine and has extensive experience presenting to international as well as regional audiences. His clientele represents a broad spectrum - members of the Fortune 100 as well as small to mid-sized companies and even solopreneurs.  His greatest achievements can be found in his marriage to his wife Barbara and the raising of their two sons, Paul and John.
