Things to Help Early Career HR Professionals

Becky Andree, CEO of Vertical Leadership Consulting

    Becky Andree, PhD Candidate

Managing or working with an early career employee can be exciting, frustrating, or both!  There is an energy and enthusiasm that is refreshing.  Yet, they bring you ideas that aren’t fully fleshed out.

The start of a Career can be exciting, frustrating, or both!  New college graduates have spent 4 years acquiring knowledge that they are eager to apply.  Yet the real workplace is a bit more messy, complex, ambiguous, and uncertain than the case studies in your college classes.  They have a lot of ideas but are told:

    • We tried that before
    • That won’t work
    • It is more complicated than that
    • The leaders won’t support it

They begin to wonder if they will EVER be allowed to actually innovate or do something creative!

    • The good news - there is a magic formula.
    • The bad news – It remains hidden, even to the manager.

In this session you will learn the invisible magic formula to expand early career understanding, capabilities, and outcomes.

Whether you are a manager, mentor or coworker of an early career professional, an early career professional, or developing learning interventions, this session is for you!
