Josh Leadford, Masud Labor Law
HR Legal Updates
Each year, Valley Society of Human Resource Management (VSHRM) holds a half-day seminar in which information related to new and changing labor laws. How these laws affect the work of today's Human Resources professional is obviously front-of-mind for our entire organization. VSHRM considers itself very fortunate to have someone like Josh Leadford on the Board of Directors. The insight and analysis that Josh provides is invaluable, and we are excited to invite him back for another half-day seminar at Soaring Eagle Resort & Casino.
Josh has significant experience dealing with labor and employment related issues. Shortly after graduating from high school he worked for UPS and, while working as a supervisor, dealt with the Teamsters Union on a daily basis. Josh found management and union relations intriguing. As a result, he focused his studies on human resources earning a degree in Human Resource Management from Central Michigan University. After graduating from CMU and beginning his legal education, Josh was selected for a clerkship with the Michigan Employment Relations Commission where he gained considerable experience in public sector labor law.
