Meeting Multigenerational Demands in the Workplace
    w/
Laura VanHoutte, Employee Benefits Sales Executive for HUB Midwest East

    Session Description
Managing my employee population is a cakewalk….Said no one ever! Being able to relate to
employees of different age groups with different needs, goals, desires, and skillsets is oftentimes
challenging! While certain societal generational stereotypes exist, they are not always true, nor
should you be basing all of your hiring and retention strategies on such hearsay. Contrary to popular belief, catering to your culture’s unique needs can actually be fun and rewarding!

During this learning session, you will begin to uncover some tools and approaches towards
maintaining a multigenerational workforce in a way that is satisfying to you as a manager and
    rewarding for your employees.

    Learning Outcomes

    • Identify the struggles and challenges in trying to meet various multigenerational needs and wants
    • Understand how to develop individual employee profiles and cater to individual employee employment life cycles
    • Develop a recruitment and retention roadmap that appeals to your company’s generational makeup
    • Learn how to forecast your population’s needs and develop a plan for execution
