After failing to win the top prize in a speech contest early in her career, Leslie began her journey toward excellence in public speaking. Her unique approach comes from over 30 years spent in corporate HR environments using the skills she now teaches. Leslie has achieved a number of certifications and a master’s degree in human resource development. She and her husband of 40 years enjoy road trips and camping at their season site on the Thornapple River.
