The December 2025 VSHRM Luncheon will see our speaker presenting in-person while there will be luncheons taking place at two different locations:
Horizons Conference Center (Saginaw)
RICO Conference Center - CMU (Mt. Pleasant)
If you are attending the Saginaw luncheon, you will be provided lunch for a $40/$45 registration fee.
If you are attending the Mt. Pleasant luncheon, lunch will be provided. There is NO COST for attending the Mt. Pleasant luncheon. Click here for more information on parking.
Developing Great Managers and Supervisors

Dena Pflieger - Talent Manager, Hollingsworth
Whether you want to "develop from within" or accelerate learning of new hires, this session will provide practical and tested ways to develop core technical and "soft skill" competencies of your current and future leadership.
Dena Pflieger is a people and performance champion with demonstrated leadership in establishing vision, purpose, strategy, and systems that help organizations and individuals thrive. She spent most of her career at Dow, concluding her tenure as Corporate Strategy Leader – Employee Wellbeing and as Global Engagement Leader – Sustainability. Dena also facilitated organizational design and service management for Dow’s global Environment, Health & Safety function. She served as Dow's Global Operations Leader – Employee Health Services, ensuring effective delivery by 100 health facilitiesacross 200 countries.
Currently Dena is the Talent Manager for Hollingsworth, a vibrant third-party logistics company headquartered in Dearborn, MI. She is responsible for securing and growing talent to delight customers, inspire the workforce, and support company expansion.
Dena has bachelor’s and master’s degrees in exercise physiology from Indiana University, and an MBA from Northwood University. She lives in Clarkston with her husband Steve, as recent "empty-nesters."
